Grounds for processing your Personal Data.
We process your personal data first and foremost so that we can carry out our contractual commitments towards you. This means typically for the purpose for you to find matching job opportunities and receive career-related advice or to connect with candidates interested in the open job positions available at your company. In addition we process Personal Data to comply with legal obligations. We also process your Personal Data for legitimate interests such as allowing our other members to view your Personal Data.
Sometimes we need your consent to process Personal Data, such as for sending you newsletters and promotions. Before you can register via our Website we also ask for your explicit consent so that we can:

You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent for those acts of processing relying on consent, however this will not affect any prior processing of your Personal Data.
What we collect.
You may visit this Website and learn about amplaffy anonymously. The data that we regularly collect about visitors to our Website (e.g., browser type, pages accessed, duration of visit, etc.) does not enable us to identify you. We also collect your IP address, but this information generally does not directly reveal your identity. Your IP address merely reveals the name of your access provider or company network.
Before you can use our services, we will ask you to register. In this respect, you will have to provide us with your full name, email address, phone number, and other information related to your job search or recruitment needs, which data we will process. By registering to our platform you are subscribing to our mailing list. For offline activities that you sign up for through our typeforms, facebook, eventbrite and such, we explicitly ask for your consent for this separately. You can choose to unsubscribe from the mailing list at any point that you so wish to.
After registering a company, you will be put on our waiting list for approval. Only after you are approved as a member of amplaffy, we will be able to match your openings with people looking for opportunities, and connect you with them.
Please be informed that we take photographs and video during events which we organize as part of our offline activities, which may include pictures and/or videos of you and we may use these materials for promotional purposes.
How we use it.
We do not sell your Personal Data to third parties.
We may need to share your Personal Data with third-party service providers to assist us in operating our service and/or to conduct some processing of your information on our behalf. Here is the list of such third-parties we leverage at the moment:
- typeform and google forms for surveys, feedback, and other purposes
- stripe for accepting payments from you
- hubspot to send you e-mails
- eventbrite for events we organize
- google drive for data storage
- dropbox for data storage
- hotjar for website analytics
These third parties are also contractually obliged not to use this Data for any other purposes than to facilitate our service provision to you.
We will also disclose your Personal Data to third parties if we are legally obliged to do so by a statutory authority with the appropriate jurisdiction.
We will only share your Personal Data with other members, and only to the extent necessary to assess whether another member might be interesting for you for the purpose of recruitment, and to connect you with them for the same purpose.
You have the option to request your Personal Data or ask us to delete your Personal Data here. Please note that in case of overdue payments, we will however need to retain your email address, phone number and company details if applicable for communication purposes. For internal use, we will also keep generic, non-personal data regarding your activity as a member.
If, in the future, we undergo any sort of corporate reorganization, we may need to transfer your personally identifiable information to the surviving entity.
Invite Friend to Register OR Invite former Colleague/Employer to give you a Review.
When you want to invite a friend to amplaffy, we will send a message to the email address or number you submit to us. We won't share this email address or number with anyone else. We will tell the recipient that you have asked us to send this message. By choosing to invite a friend you confirm that your friend is happy to receive the message.

amplaffy may use web analytics and technical, analytical and tracking “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help us enhance your experience. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored on servers. This information can be visitor statistics, clicking behavior etc. We will analyze how users use the Website and improve our service to deliver a better outcome to you.
We work hard to protect your Personal Data. We employ our standard security measures and use SSL encryption. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will take all reasonable measures, we cannot guarantee the security of your data. Any transmission is at your own risk.
We retain your Personal Data no longer than strictly necessary or as long as allowed by law, whichever is shorter. In case you have not interacted with us in any way for 3 years, we will in any case erase your Personal Data from our records.
You have the right to:
